Parental controls
porn.pics is for adults only. If children can use your phone, computer or home network, a few minutes of set-up keep them away from adult sites — including this one.
porn.pics is labelled for filters
Every page of porn.pics carries the RTA (Restricted To Adults) label, a free and voluntary label that parental-control software and browsers use to recognise adult sites. Once a filter is switched on, porn.pics is blocked automatically.
On phones and tablets
- iPhone and iPad: Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → App Store, Media, Web & Games → Web Content → Limit Adult Websites.
- Android: set up Google Family Link for your child’s account, then block explicit sites in Chrome and turn on SafeSearch.
On computers
- Windows: Microsoft Family Safety filters inappropriate websites for child accounts.
- Mac: System Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy → Limit Adult Websites.
- Search engines: lock SafeSearch on in Google, Bing and other search engines used by your children.
For the whole home network
A family DNS filter blocks adult sites on every device connected to your Wi-Fi, including game consoles and smart TVs. Change the DNS servers in your router’s settings to a family-safe service such as CleanBrowsing Family Filter or OpenDNS FamilyShield. Many routers and internet providers also include parental controls.
Dedicated apps
Parental-control apps such as Qustodio, Net Nanny and Norton Family combine website filtering, screen-time limits and reports across devices.
A few good habits
- Give children their own user accounts, without administrator rights.
- Lock your own devices and don’t share passwords.
- Clear your history and library on shared devices, or browse in a private window.
